Privacy Policy

Rishi Jagariya Traders Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), operating the CoinConnect brand and the website CoinConnect.in, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under applicable Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Data We Collect

  • Identification data: name, date of birth, PAN, Aadhaar reference, photograph and signature.
  • Contact data: address, email, phone number.
  • Financial data: bank account / UPI ID, transaction amounts, wallet addresses.
  • Device & usage data: IP address, browser, device identifiers, cookies, pages visited.
  • Communications: support tickets, chat transcripts, recordings of calls where lawful.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To verify your identity and meet KYC, AML, EDD and PMLA obligations.
  • To facilitate transactions through our regulated partners.
  • To prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorism financing and sanctions breaches.
  • To comply with court orders, LEA requests, regulatory directives and tax reporting.
  • To improve, secure and personalise the Services.
  • To send service messages and, with consent, marketing.

4. Sharing of Data

We may share data with: (a) regulated payment, banking, custody, exchange and KYC partners involved in facilitating your transaction; (b) cloud and analytics service providers acting as processors; (c) law enforcement, regulators and courts where legally required; (d) professional advisors. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as required to provide the Services and to comply with legal obligations — including a minimum of five (5) years after the end of the customer relationship under PMLA, and longer where required by tax or other laws.

6. Security

We use technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, multi-factor authentication, periodic vulnerability assessments and employee training. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a notifiable breach we will inform affected users and the Data Protection Board in accordance with law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent where processing is consent-based, and lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer or the Data Protection Board. To exercise these rights, email support@coinconnect.com.
